Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of BharatSeal — the platform, API, and claimed business profiles. Plain language first, legalese kept to a minimum.

Acceptance

●By accessing BharatSeal you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
●These Terms apply to all users: free, paid, API consumers, and claimed business profiles.
●We may update these Terms with 14 days notice via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

●You may use BharatSeal to search, verify, and export Indian business data for legitimate commercial and research purposes.
●API access is permitted for integration into your own products, provided you do not resell raw BharatSeal data as a standalone product.
●Claimed business profiles may be used to manage and improve your company's publicly visible information.

●Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk downloading of data beyond your plan's export limits.
●Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing BharatSeal data to third parties without written agreement.
●Using BharatSeal data to send unsolicited marketing communications (spam) to businesses listed on the platform.
●Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the BharatSeal platform or API.
●Creating fake or misleading business profiles, or gaming the confidence score system.

●BharatSeal aggregates public government data. We make no warranty that information is complete, current, or error-free.
●Government data has inherent delays. Company status, directors, and financials reflect the last available government filing.
●Do not use BharatSeal as the sole basis for credit decisions, due diligence, or legal proceedings. Always verify critical information from primary government sources.

●API rate limits are enforced per plan. Exceeding limits will result in temporary suspension of your API key.
●You must not use the API in any application that could cause harm to individuals or businesses listed in our database.
●API keys are personal and must not be shared publicly (e.g., in public GitHub repositories). You are responsible for all usage under your key.
●We may deprecate API endpoints with 60 days notice. Breaking changes require a major version bump.

●We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.
●You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. No refunds for partial billing periods.
●On termination, your data export rights remain active for 30 days.

●BharatSeal is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.
●Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
●We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of the platform.
