Self compacting concrete (SCC) can be defined as fresh ready made concrete that flows under its own weight and does not require external vibration to undergo compaction. This type of concrete is ideal to be used in the following applications: Drilled shafts, Columns, Earth retaining systems, Areas with a high concentration of rebar and pipes/conduits.
