Over a decade ago, on a trip to Coorg, our co-founder, Chandrasekar B, made a serendipitous discovery. While staying at a home, he came across no-name organic and sustainable cleaning products that were impressively effective. Curiosity piqued, Chandra brought them back home to Chennai where he found that beneficial microorganisms could make cleaning one's home both efficient and green. He then teamed up with Dr. Sivaram Pillai and began devising solutions for his own factory which was heavily using chemicals. The duo found that not only were their solutions as effective as chemical compounds, but they also rendered these toxic substances unnecessary. Chandra and Doc knew they were on to something: they had the foundation for products that would be effective and leave a safer planet. They found another partner in Vishwadeep Kuila, an early client who was driven by the same passion and conviction. Vishy brought in the much-needed branding and go-to-market strategy in the beginning days. Thus began the Proklean story. 10 years later, We are a larger team and have clients across sectors and the country. But the same curiosity and passion for change drive us.
