Aerial Bunched Cable (ABC) is a type of overhead power line that uses insulated conductors instead of traditional bare conductors. It’s called “bunched” because the cables are tightly bundled together and typically wrapped around a high-strength messenger wire (usually made of aluminum alloy or steel) that supports the weight and provides mechanical strength.
