Description
Liquid Chlorine is liquified form of Chlorine gas. In liquid form it is pale yellow-green colour, highly reactive with strong pungent smell. Chlorine gas is hazardous and is extremely dangerous. It must be handled with precaution and with protective gear. It is stored (and transported) under high pressure in liquid form in metallic cylinders (tonners). It is mainly used in water disinfection, PVC production, as bleaching agent, in sanitation applications, chemical manufacturing, etc.
