Michelman established its first location in India in 2012 to provide heat seal coatings for pan masala pouches, and quickly became known as an integral partner in the development of environmentally friendly packaging solutions. In 2018, we moved to an expanded facility in Mumbai and launched the Michelman Innovation Centre for Coatings (MICC), a unique packaging incubator and collaboration hub. Since then, we have expanded our offerings in India beyond packaging to include a broad range of water-based surface modifiers for digital printing, composites, agriculture, and architectural coatings, bringing over 75 years of application and formulation expertise to industries in India.
