Description
Moganad Estate lies in a valley in the northernmost region of the Shevaroys and growing areas range in elevation between 3600 and 4600 feet above mean sea level. The entire estate is intercropped with pepper, cloves and nutmeg which enhances the uniqueness of our coffee.
The majority of coffee grown is a mixed variety of Arabica namely S.9, S 5B and Chandragiri coffee. CxR Robusta also does very well in this estate and Moganad Estate was recently the winner of the esteemed award of “Best Robusta Coffee in India” in the year 2016. Moganad Estate was also featured in the Global Coffee Report Magazine in their September, 2016 issue.
