Laguna Clothing, a joint-venture company of CIEL Group Company (Mauritius) and $200-million Gruppo Tessile Monti SPA (Italy) — had set up a garment manufacturing unit in Seegote village in / Kanakapura in Bangalore district of Karnataka. The plant spread across 110,000 sq.ft had come with an investment of Rs. 200 million. It has a capacity to produce 15000 high end shirts. It may be noted, the company has another plant in Jigani near Bangalore and supplies to brands like Banana Republic, Saks Fifth Avenue and Charles Tyrwhitt.
