Halgona Radiators Private Limited was established in 1986 in Jigani Industrial Area, Bangalore. The company was founded by Dr. Dakshina Murthy Halemane, a Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Holland University, who developed a business relationship with NRF Radiateuren b.v., a European pioneer in radiators and cooling systems. NRF provided technical collaboration, including design capability, testing equipment, machinery, tooling, jigs, and fixtures, and trained the workforce to their standards. In 1991, Halgona became a unit of the 'A L BATRA GROUP OF COMPANIES', led by Shri. Amrit Lal Batra, a prominent industrialist and philanthropist known for pioneering various products in India.
