Goa Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Limited (GAPL) is a premier Central Public Sector Pharma Company and a subsidiary of HLL Lifecare Limited under the administrative control of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Previously a state Public Sector Enterprise with the Government of Goa until 2014, GAPL has over three decades of manufacturing and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical field. In March 2014, HLL Lifecare Ltd acquired a 74% stake, making GAPL its subsidiary, while the Government of Goa retains the remaining 26%. GAPL is located in Tuem, Pernem, North Goa.
