They are endowed with high chemical resistance, and display higher sound absorption than polyether foams. The porous open cells give the polyester foams a high viscosity rate, thus showing exceptional physical properties like superior solvency and resistance to abrasions - qualities unavailable in other types of polyurethane foams.
