Flowkem® Krushiflow™ offers a reliable range of rigid PVC (RPVC) pipes and fittings designed for agricultural irrigation and domestic water supply applications. These pipes are manufactured in accordance with IS 4985:2021 standards, ensuring consistent quality, strength, and performance. The product range is available in sizes from 20 mm to 315 mm and in multiple pressure classes, making it suitable for different water distribution requirements.
Flowkem® Krushiflow™ pipes are available with two types of jointing systems to provide installation flexibility. The Solvent Weld (Selfit) system ensures a permanent and leak-proof connection using solvent cement, while the Rubber Ring (Ringfit) joint provides a flexible and quick push-fit installation, especially suitable for longer pipelines and underground applications.
The fittings used in the Flowkem® Krushiflow™ system are manufactured as per IS 7834 and internal company quality standards. The fittings range covers all essential components such as elbows, tees, reducers, couplers, and adaptors in sizes from 20 mm to 315 mm, ensuring a complete piping solution.
Flowkem® Krushiflow™ RPVC pipes are produced using advanced extrusion technology, while the fittings are manufactured through precision injection moulding machines. Each product is designed with accurate dimensions and smooth internal surfaces to maintain efficient water flow and reduce pressure loss. The pipes and fittings undergo strict quality testing for pressure resistance, temperature performance, and chemical resistance, ensuring durability and long service life even under demanding operating conditions.

Opaque Pipe & Fittings Wall - The pipe body is fully opaque, preventing light transmission through the pipe wall. This inhibits algae and microbial growth inside the pipeline, helping maintain water hygiene and quality.
High Mechanical Strength - RPVC pipes offer excellent tensile strength, impact resistance, and pressure-bearing capacity, making them suitable for agricultural irrigation, water supply networks, and industrial fluid conveyance.
Corrosion & Chemical Resistance - The material is non-corrosive and resistant to a wide range of chemicals, eliminating rust formation and ensuring a longer service life compared to metal pipelines.
Smooth Internal Surface - RPVC pipes have a low friction coefficient, resulting in improved hydraulic flow, reduced pressure loss, and better water conveyance efficiency.
Leak-Proof Jointing System - Compatible with solvent cement joints and threaded fittings, ensuring tight sealing, easy installation, and minimal leakage in pipeline systems.
Lightweight & Easy Handling - Compared to conventional materials, RPVC pipes are lightweight yet strong, enabling easier transportation, faster installation, and reduced labour costs.
Long Service Life - Due to UV-stabilised formulation and material durability, RPVC pipe systems offer reliable performance for decades with minimal maintenance.

FAQs
1. What are Flowkem® Krushiflow™ RPVC pipes?
Flowkem® Krushiflow™ RPVC pipes are rigid uPVC pipes designed for potable water supply, agriculture, and plumbing applications, manufactured in accordance with IS 4985:2021.
2. What standards are RPVC pipes and fittings made to?
Flowkem® Krushiflow™ RPVC pipes comply with IS 4985:2021, while RPVC injection moulded fittings are manufactured as per IS 7834:1987.
3. What are the common applications of Flowkem® Krushiflow™ pipes?
They are widely used for drinking water supply, irrigation systems, plumbing networks, and industrial water distribution.
4. What are Pressure Pipes Used for in Agriculture?
Pressure pipes are essential components in agricultural irrigation systems, designed to transport water and other fluids under controlled pressure. These pipes are engineered to withstand high internal pressure, ensuring efficient and reliable water delivery across long distances in farms and agricultural fields. By maintaining a consistent water flow to irrigation networks, pressure pipes help improve irrigation efficiency, support healthy crop growth, enhance overall yield, and reduce maintenance requirements for farmers.
5. Are these pipes suitable for underground installations?
Yes, Flowkem® Krushiflow™ pipes are engineered for reliable underground installations. Manufactured with high structural strength and durability, these pipes can effectively withstand external soil loads and ground pressure. Their excellent resistance to corrosion and environmental factors ensures long-term performance and dependable operation in buried pipeline applications.
6.Does leaving pipes empty for a long period affect their performance?
For underground installations, minor shape deformation may occur due to soil load and installation conditions. In above-ground installations, prolonged exposure to hot air in empty pipelines may cause slight colour fading. However, this does not affect the pipe’s structural strength or pressure-bearing capacity.
